This is the choice!
by TwivendellessarIf you're wondering which of the many soundtracks of this gorgeous musical to choose, this is the one. The actors are brilliant and this album is the one definitely worth your money as it includes the entire play!
Hhhmmmm....
by Bride of MikensteinSo I just finished listening to this for the first time in a long time... While I think the music is the absolutely best of any of the recordings (it was full and gorgeous!), I had real issue with Eponine and Cosette. They were both just meh. Cosette was shrill with too much treble and her vibrato was too fast, while Eponine was just wasn't good and barely audible at times (which ironically, was good). I'm sure she probably sounds much better in her native Japanese, but it's obvious her english is rough. I was pretty happy with everyone else. I still recommend it since I have a hard time listening to other recordings since there's so much music missing. My two cents.
Absolutely Amazing (minus 2)
by Conman6204I love this version as a performer cuz it includes all the music and has the amazing voices of so many like Michael Ball and Philip Quast. However, like many of the other recordings, Eponine is not well cast and I cannot take this Valjean over Colm Wilkinson. Other than those two, this is a brilliant recording!
