In the top 5 CDs I own (and I own well over 100)
by Donna-PhilaThis is one of my all-time favorite CDs. When I first got it, I could not take it out of the CD player. So beautiful. Gary's voice is so perfect--very soothing. And the songwriting - amazing. Falling Awake, Whiskey and Andulucia are such beautiful songs, as are others. Devil Keeps Grinnin and Gone Daddy make me wanna dance. Gary's songwriting is incredible - he can really make you "feel" the emotion of the song thru his words, the instrumentation (guitar work) and his annunciations. Give it a listen - see for yourself. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it!!!
An unexpected amazingness indeed BUY THIS
by LeviathaonI'm almost half-way through, and I'm shocked at how much I like it!!
I LOVED Falling Awake, which is what made me buy this album, along with that rockin' album cover, and I liked Mad World.
However, I was tricked by Itunes' popularity ratings, and I thought those were his only good ones (Bad me!).
It's hilarious how much the curse words he uses are unexpected.
Falling Awake, Gone Daddy, and Serpent-In-Claw are my favorite so far, but I'm only at Little Greenie.
This is DEFINATELY worth a buy.

by girlwholoveschillmusicOk, so I stumbled on this album completely by accident- I had never heard of Gary Jules- but after sampling just a couple songs I knew it was an album that I wanted in my collection... Download it. You will not be disappointed. Smokey, rich, soulful, and bluesy. Amazing.
