Fantastic Band
by Taylor ParhamI gotta admit... I first heard the Winterpills when a bluegrass band I'm in opened for them at a gig in Shelburne Falls. After staying to listen, I was completely blown away, and found myself buying all of their albums as soon as possible. The sounds they produce are soothing to listen to, while still being completely engaging and and entertaining, as many "easy listening" bands are not. You can, of course, see where their inspiration comes from through their music, but not enough so that it's not totally unique. Philip, if you're reading this, your band rocks!
Great CD!
by kaylaway2002I first listened to Winterpills watching Numb-- the song they played on the movie isn't listed though. Awesome album. Would definitely recommend it. However, I wish there was an edited version so I could play it at the CD store I work at.
