just another spoke in the wheel

Pete started acoustic/unplugged rock with his awe inspiring set during The Secret Policeman's Ball in 1979 (one of my most cherished vinyl albums and one of the reasons why I still own a turntable) so The Attic seems a perfect project for him. I loved the album and the podcasts. Oh and by the way Simon is Pete's younger brother NOT his son.

Possibly My Favorite Albumn

by The Stephinator

This alternative jamablaya is smooth and funky. You can rock out or you can just hum along. The mix of these artists is perfection. Pete Townsend and Regina Spektor and Death Cab show a really cool side. I like these songs better than their albumns. Its got a real laid back feel, you feel like you just popped in on a jam session and they just passed you a pint. Nothing cliche about it, totally original, but not too off the wall. It makes sense, best 10 bucks I ever spent.

The Future Of Music

by DaltreyEntwistleMoonTownshend

This is what real music is supposed to sound like. This album features great performeances from amazing young artists that play music the way it is supposed to be played and heard: with passion. Plus, you get Pete Townshend playing his songs with great artists like the Racounteurs and the Flaming Lips. Rose Hill Drive is another great band to look out for in the future.
