Consider his Live albums as EP albums
by Jahman7Hey, I think people don't realize that his live albums are sort of like an EP album, except in my opinion, far better than a regular EP album because they are alternate versions of the songs and other songs.
Wow
by J MustardOkay so at first, i thought this album was going to be really lame. I am not really a huge Shawn fan as far as live recordings but thought I would buy it. In fact, I really didn't even listen to it for a month. Then I decided since I spent money on it, I might as well given it a listen. So I skim listened and wasn't very impressed. Then I decided okay, let me listen to this from front to back, beginning to end. Wow! I was blown away by the honesty of the words. These were words my heart had been searching for but couldn't find. Ramblings was a song that just made me realize my need to see God in a hole new way. Then I am am nothing blew me away realizing my place next to God and my need for him and how he shows me more and more who he is. The rest of the album was just awesome. i know that they are scattered pieces but they present a whole message and spoke to the core of my heart.
breathtaking...
by tmizzle12Its pretty cool when you can a spiritual experience everytime you get into your car. That happens everytime when Shawn is in your stereo. I actually won this cd at one of his concerts, and i almost never take it out. It brings me back to that incredible experience. His story is deep, his voice is soothing, but his passion is amazing. This guy encourages me to want to step out and be the godly example, even when I dont think I deserve to.
Can't wait for "Roots", but this guy is so much better live. Keep it up Shawn!
