One of the best
by alwman67This is one of Rush's best songs. It made Snakes and Arrows a great album, but was a great song to make into a single. I hope to see more songs like Far Cry to come
One of the Best
by Da HippieFar Cry is an awesome song, but this just doesn't sound like their old stuff. I really don't like it that Geddy uses a Jazz Bass instead of his Rickenbacker, 'cuz it was really part of their trademark sound. He's in the background too much now, and the thing about their old music was that his bass was almost a lead instrument. Other than the bass, the guitar sounds a little too low on the neck. For a song, I think this is great, something I listen to frequently, and Peart's lyrics and drums are awesome.
