Album Review
Slow Dancing with the Moon features a who's who of country music circa 1993; guests including Tanya Tucker, Vince Gill, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Chet Atkins, Kathy Mattea, and Billy Ray Cyrus are just a handful of the singers and players joining Parton on this outing. Ironically, it's the simpler, sparer songs that work best here; stripped of all the gloss and star power that sink the guest-dominated tracks, they allow Parton's emotional vocals to really shine through.

by lee4musicThis song started as Target add. Great lyric & music, but tempo was much speeded up from the
commercial. Kind of ruined the effect. Still a unique song, much needed in country western.
