The Deli of Life
by vangoghseari keep listening The Day My Baby Broke My Heart over and over again. Obsessive yes, but i simply cannot help myself. I have yet to find a more mature and forthwright band in my life. Grabs your balls, won't let go, makes you stand upright and take notice. Well done.
amazingly unknown
by loompspa2"Pop" is probably my fave song of the six, but "You Are Boring The S**t Out of Me" is a just as amazing. I'm ecstatic to spread this bands fanticilisiousness aound. They've got a good sound i haven't heard in a lot of the new bands.
400+ Songs But You Only Need One
by moodspinsThe Deli of Life is close to perfect EP: it introduces hooks that bury deep into your head, leaving you wanting more while giving you a taste of what these musicians have up their sleeves. "You Are Boring the S**t Out of Me" is infectious and might very well end up the most popular of the six songs included here, and "Photograph" -- driven by Mike Keaney's powerful vocal -- is a radio hit waiting to happen. Ironically enough, the gem here, "Pop," is the least likely to be embraced by the music elite. The Rebellion's Jed Davis has written more than 400 songs over the past 15 years, but "Pop" is his best by far; fans should go out of their way to hear it, and the music industry ought to duck.
