iTunes Review

Trisha Yearwood’s country music career has been marked by a refusal to go for the trendy hit or the easy pop crossover tune. Over the years, she’s favored artistically-substantial songs and sung them as if the words were her own, and Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love (2007) reaffirms the core values of her work. Assisted by long-time producer Garth Fundis, she tackles a well-balanced batch of ballads and uptempo numbers with the enthusiasm of a fledgling artist and a combination of nuanced interpretation and full-on vocal power that's all but unique in modern country. She renders tracks like “Let the Wind Chase You” (featuring Keith Urban) and “Sing You Back To Me” with understated drama, then kicks up her heels on rollicking numbers like “Nothin’ About You is Good For Me” and the title tune. The earthy gusto of “Drown Me” provides counterpoint to the tear-stained elegance of “This Is Me You’re Talking To.” An outstanding addition to Yearwood’s catalogue.

Its not Amazing

Now take it from the girl who knows country the best. She needs to get her own style, now unless your in the mood for amachure music that it feels like every country artist is trying to get and you can find 50 others who might just as well just be her, dont buy it. Just dont, becouse thats just what it is. Nothing more to it. Now take other artist from the same record company, like Taylor Swift maybe. Now Swift has been very succesful becouse there is no one else out there like her, her songs are different, her vocals are different, and all in a good way. Now its not fair to compair much but in my personal thoughts it was not worth all the money.

This is practically the first time I've heard of Trisha Yearwood, and I've seen her on TV singing, and I immediately fell in love with her voice. She is great! I listened to her when she was singing with only a guitar, and I was so impressed by her voice, it blew me away. I really like her CD, and she has a naturally nice country tune. My #① favorite song is COW BOYS ARE MY WEAKNESS. It's such a cute song, and it has such a unique tone and beat to it. She sang it very well.

❤TRISHA YEARWOOD ROCKS!❤
