AMAZING SONGS!
by Matrix-MonkeyI first learned of Detektivbyran when a friend started playing Om Du Moter Varg in a homemade fort that we built together. I loved it. I forced him to find out the name of the song and the artist. He did. I then bought all the Detektivbyran albums except Hemvagen. These guys rock!
Magical
by trutildethIf you love their earlier work, you won't be disappointed. If you loved Yann Tiersen's Amelie and want more, Detekivbryan should satisfy. It's a similar style, but they have taken it and run - into an amazing, magical world you won't want to leave!

by XibeeThese are three guys in great debt of Yann Tiersen, the French (Oh ya, that name sounds very Breton, don'tcha think, oh ya), guy who did the music for the movie Amelie. If you loved the music from Amelie, and/or have a pentient for dark waltzes like I do, these guys are for you. Not to sell them short on originality, however; this last album is far more sophisticated than the last, and I think they have HUGE potential. They are just plain off center and fun. I mean, how can you resist guys who bounce around with happy abandon tapping neatly on vibraphones and glockenspiels while wearing hightops, or have a lead accordionist with a name like Anders Flanders. BIG wins all around. Go buy some.
