Stunning, gorgeous, sonic dreaming at it's finest
by materialboi9I first heard of this band in 2007 when I was searching on iTunes for Cut Copy tracks. I found the "Kept Low" single with the Cut Copy remix, and I was really into it. Then, I just thought one day that I'd see if Mercy Arms had anything new, and to my delight, this self-titled debut was out on iTunes. I bought it on a whim and I'm so glad that I did! Each song is unique and different and just plain awesome. This album is angsty, gritty, dirty, sad, melodic and pump-you-up exciting...all on one record! I highly recommend this album if you like Joy Division, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Smiths, etc. You won't regret it.
