Illa J keeps J Dilla alive.
by Speaker-HeadI don't know what some of the other people here were thinking. I don't think that Illa J would do this just to ride J Dilla's legacy out, nor would he do it for the money. He has too much respect, just like the rest of us, to just disrespect his brother like that. I think that the beats are amazing. A reminder of how real hip-hop should sound. And lyrically, he is just fine. I don't know who you people were comparing him too, but he is not terrible at all. He's better than most people you hear on the radio. But this is an amazing EP and I hope to buy Illa J's entire album when it is released.
