by Babyboy5577Wow!!! Gideon Band is back. Powerful and relevant lyrics but yet the Grand Band sound. I can't wait for the album to be released. This is simply incredible and a must have!!!

by Mark TatumIs it possible to fuse funk with Inspiration? Can you mix urban grooves with Christ-centered lyrics? Is there a chemistry between good production and sincere worship? The answer is undoubtedly "yes!" But there are several trendsetters including Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbet just to name a few. But, in the days where Gospel/Inspirational music is being defined as having a choir/ensemble or (Heaven forbid) sampling other music, what happened to original music and live instrumentation? This is where Gideon Band stands alone! Gideon redefines what a contemporary gospel band should sound like. They seem to have a niche in balancing great sounding music with lyrics based on the Christian experience. The only other entity they can be considered as, is Gospel music legends Commission. But even so, Gideon is like the new millenium version, always staying on the cutting edge of music and ministry. This latest track "Power" is just a taste of their smorgasbord of flavors. Do them a favor. Buy their tracks, and spread the word. And now do us a favor, tell November to hurry up! The world is ready and waiting for the full entree' called Gideon Band!
