Awesome

The best CD of a top notch band
by SchwammoRWB is among the best bands that I have ever heard. Although I am a fan of nearly all their music this is by far the best CD they have put out. Venus 55, Audition, Selling Tomorrow, and Number 1 Fun are my favorite songs on the CD, but there really isn't a bad track. I would also HIGHLY recommend seeing these guys live. Scott Terry's vocals are beyond belief. I'm amazed that he can keep his vocals at such a powerful level for two and a half hours. The guitar solos by Epp are also something to be seen that isn't always on the CD tracks.
The best live band I have ever seen. Period
by Dark Jester I have over 2000 records and cd's. I have 150 gigs of music on my hard drive. I also have not taken this album out of my car or home cd changer for almost two years. It is that good. I am not what you would call an obsessive fan of these guys, but I do make it a point to try and catch them whenever they are in town. The album has no striking flaws, and at listening you could never tell it was independantly produced. the songwriting and production are as strong as anything a Major label has put out in the last 10 years. But where these guys really shine is on stage. where a song like Wake up Dreamer is a highlight on record, Live it is trancendant. and you will never hear a catchier phrase in a song than !@#@!@! $%#@&*^ Bah! Listen to venus 55 all the way through and you will understand. Give these guys a listen, or better yet, memorize every word and go to a show. You will thank me.
