It's only classed Jazz because there isn't a genre called Eclectic.

This album ROCKS...and grooves and funks and swings and thrashes and whatever verbs they use for classical and klezmer music too. They popped up on my Pandora.com station and I knew I had to have more. Wow! did I get more.

When you get to the end of the rocking guitar explosion that is Mai Tai, after the stunned feeling wears off, you say, "Yeah man, you can have a sandwich. What ever you want. I'll buy." In Durnt Durnt when she says, "You can feel that, don't you" the funk bone at the base of my spine replies "Oh, yes." Gretchen has my jazz trumpet-loving boyfriend reaching for me, closing his eyes and swaying around the carpet. The swing flavored So Dirty makes my six-year-old howl with laughter. When the female vocalists sweetly deliver the line "...blazing inferno of death,” I have to remind him to breathe. This album is by far my best buy ever on iTunes.

Remember—The Dirty Notes are on your side, just where you’ll be wanting them.

, it's well worth your time.

Saw these guys at Antone's in Austin......brought the house down! Their music is tight and well executed. Swiftly becoming local favorites....check out their 2006 JazzFest performance, it's well worth a listen.

awesome.

these guys will strike a chord with anyone, no matter what the listener's preferences. they mash together all sorts of genres and produce some great music. most bands that try to do so end up with a cheesy sound, but they really pull it off. BUY THIS ALBUM. also, for more funky-bluesy stuff get bandicoot
