Album Review
Colombian singer/songwriter Juan Esteban Aristizabal wanted to go on his own with a contemporary Latin pop album, teaming up with producer Gustavo Santaolalla, known for his valuable contributions to Latin rock numbers, to make that possible. Fíjate Bien comprised 12 songs, all of them composed by this South American performer, from the mid-tempo "Nada," and Latin Grammy-winning "Fíjate Bien" to the Colombian coastal folk-flavored "Podemos Hacernos Daño," a seductive ballad called "Vulnerable," and Latin hip-hop-oriented "Me Da Igual," allowing Juanes to achieve an award for Best New Latin Artist in 2001.

Donde todo empeso!
by Yesi-07La verdad me enamore de su estilo de escribe en sus cansiones canta de temas que no se tocavan en el radio como es 'fijate bien'. lo hace en una forma que de da conciensia, y a la vez te da esperansa, que lo genera con sus ritmos. es algo que te da esperansa. Para mi Juanes es unico y vale la pena comprarlo, dice mucho de el y es buena musica y a quien no le cai bien algo de buena musica.

by Rocio EWhat can I say about mi Juanes! I think this is one of his best cds out of the four he has by now. It is a darker side of Juanes, we don't find song about love or celebrating life like we do in the other record of him. However, FIJATE BIEN is a great album and if you like good music and love juanes YOU MUST HAVE IT. Songs like Nada, Para ser Eterno or Vulnerable would blow your mind! Even if you dont understand a word of spanish, the melodies are great.. What Can I say, I LOVE THIS MAN! Arriba mi juanes!
