Album Review

Featuring gentle, folk-based guitars and pop melodies, the Sundays' second album isn't much of a sonic departure from their first album. While it does have several fine numbers, it doesn't have as many outstanding songs as Reading, Writing and Arithmetic; nevertheless, Blind will please most fans of the group.

I think this is the version of this song that was played in the "prom" episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in season 3, it is so beautiful

Could've seen them live in NYC back in 1995

This is my favorite of the three. "Goodbye", "On Earth" are my faves. Bought it at a particularly lonely time in my life and it resonates beautifully and deeply. Harriet's voice is truly a thing of beauty and David's guitar parts continue to inspire and amaze me.

Wild Horses.

I first heard The Sundays' "Wild Horses", in the movie "Fear" starring Reese Witherspoon, and Mark Wahlberg. I fell in love with this group ever since. Just makes me wonder why they were never noticed as much as they should've been.

Although the sales of their first two albums were strong,...
