Still Best of Breed in Alternative Acapella
by The_Banshee_of_BopI met Janie Bob briefly in 1984 0r '85, not that she'd remember; she was a friend of one of my coworkers and the Bobs had yet to become famous.
I love this band - the voices, the way they work separately or together, and the sly humor of their songs. If you're new to the Bobs, check out the CD "Songs for Tomorrow Morning" - it's their best, imo. But it's all good.
Oh. My co-worker told me that the band name actually was an abbreviation of "Best of Breed" - like the dog shows :)

by trevorteuscThe Bobs have always been one of my favorite groups. It is a rare talent to have such a great sense of humor as well as great technical ability. There are few groups that are more entertaining. This album shows that not only have they not lost their gift, but they continue to get better.
White Room Rocks
