electro-lounge ups the ante
by nativemuseOn its own terms, Venus Hum fits the crossover space between the also brilliant Ladytron and Bittersweet. A wonderful electro-cacaphonous sound that activates all those sleepy synapses and leaves behind a nice smooth musical buzz.
You could probably due without buying this EP
by Kitty XThe PC(remix) wasn't as good as I thought it would be. (I guess it's good if you're REALLY into Euro-cheese type techno.) If you want the original PC and BaF, just go for the album.
The only thing that I would recommend is the "Satellite City Remix" here because it's very soft and romantic (and refreshing when you stack it up to some of the more harsher and ripping noises from the album).
Makes you want to shake your hips!
by cranberlyEven as I listen to "Pink Champagne" at work, I feel like dancing! (I would much rather be listening to it at the pool with some pink champagne in hand, but this will do for now.) "Pink Champagne" is really fun and "Birds and Fishes" has become my new "wake up" song on my iHome alarm clock. 5 stars from me!
