Breakthrough
by JLee244This is a terrific breakthrough album for The October. It's a rare treat when you find an album that every track is "radio worthy", but I truly feel like "Bye Bye Beautiful" is just that. Its full of hypnotic, eerily familiar songs that graced the airwaves in the 80's and 90's, yet with a fresh appeal. I hope the band keeps working hard, because they truly belong on stage infront of sold out venues. The October seems to be a band that is enjoying the moment, lets hope the moment lasts a long time. Bravo

by mixtapeloveethese guys grew up not far from louisville (where i live) and they play here atleats once a month. eveyr time they come, theyre awesome. even though theyre not that big in the u.s., the boys are bound to hit it big with stuff like this album. ive heard a few of their singles for their next album since my friend works for with publicity company. trust me, these guys are going places.
Beautiful Diversion...
by RensirJust when you thought the October didn't have it in them to do better than their last effort, they step up and push the envelope again. The band's impressive ability to conjure the elements of the craft and weave them into one great piece after another makes one wonder what faustian deal has been made. I, for one, am looking forward to the next album from these guys, but luckily they've given us a "Beautiful" diversion until then.
