One Atonement! Clearly Speaks For Itself.
by Malachi Jomo-KenyattaThere seems to be these rare occasions where we are blessed in life to hear a voice that comes along ever so often. Yahadanai is certainly one of them. From beginning to end, you just cannot put this album down. It is on constant rotation in my Ipod. The sweet voice, the message in the music, it is all there. So come one and come all, grab up a lass and cut down the cain fields, so that they could know how it feels, to cut down the greengrass. Well, I am already getting carried away. But, you see my point! The music makes you want to scream from the mountain tops but it is one of meditation and love and understanding for humankind. The Mosiah Chant track is indeed powerful and a first for me to hear someone sing full through alongside the great Marcus Garvey. It is like Garveys ghost haunt this album bringing us a sense of the great mystic and revelation for black redemption and self pride. We can all benefit from a bit of self help these days since the world has forgotten the need for honest achievements. Everyone seems to be in a mad rush to get rich. One Atonement is cause to take a step forward while looking back at all we have accomplish and has yet to discover. No More Warfare. No More Roman Soldiers Marching To War. We need some love and peace in this life. Big Up Yahadanai. I cannot wait to see what he has in store. Check out The Music Lounge Album track list for this artist. Revolution of Righteousness
by st luciapowerful message, powerful unique sound, and a wise young mind. Reggae needs more works like this. This new generation of reggae artists are wise young brothers, all with their own style (midnite, niyorah, abja, bambu station, just to name a few), are a serious stream of awakening consciousness. Listen and learn while you dance..Seen?? Can't wait to see what our breddren has in store...Give this brother your support...
Way Underated
by neverportageI don't know much about this particular artist other than I heard this album from a friend and was hooked. The Itunes store was the only place I could find the album and there isn't much info on Yahadanai on the net, but this is definately one of the best reggae albums I have heard in a long time. Check it out.
