Absolutely fascinating
by MomluvsmebestThe Alarmists are an amazing band. They get to know their fans, they work extremely hard on their music, and they are extremely talented. They have paved some new ground with some of the shows they've played recently (SXSW), and I really think that they are going places. I personally know a member of the band, and have therefore met the rest of the band, and they are just NICE guys. I don't see anything pretentious in the Alarmists. It's not every band that has the ability to get just about anyone bobbing their head to the music, or even singing along. Here in Minneapolis, they are known, at least by name if not by music, and are almost local heroes! buy their CD, support their music! they deserve it!

I saw them live, and met the lead singer, and they really are a talented and amazing bunch of young men!(pretty hot, too! :]) Coming to Meet Me is good when you want something a little heavy, but my favorite when you just want to feel good, and I think the best track on the album, is She Will Love Again.
HEY! MY FRIEND KNOWS SOMEONE IN THIS BAND!
by just a nobodyOk, so my friend, who moved from minnesota two years ago has a friend back there whose brother is in this band! and she's like, "Well... I dont really like this kind of music, but i think you will," and she had a copy that her friend had given her for free, so she gave it to me! AND I LOVE THEIR MUSIC! No, it's not just, "yeah i like 'em..." I absolutely think you should buy this album, but if you're not going to buy the whole thing, my favorites are 1) Coming To Meet Me , 2) Some Things Never Stop, and 3) She Will Love Again (Hey Kid). Sure, I'm a little bit biased, but give 'em a try, just listen. I'm sure you'll hear why I like them so much. :]
