Another stunner from Patrick Doyle

I think Doyle has become my favorite film composer, inching up there bit by bit since he did the score for "Henry V" with Kenneth Branagh. He's at his best when he's writing lush, expansive, beautiful music, and this movie must've given him that opportunity. Listen to tracks 9 and 14 for examples of this. The work is gorgeous. He's up there with the likes of Alexandre Desplat, Kerry Muzzey, and Aaron Zigman in the "they don't get used enough" category. Also check out the soundtrack for "Mrs. Winterbourne" which was a Patrick Doyle score... it's one of his best works ever. And give Wah-wah a download, it's worth it!

Bloody Brilliant!!!

I applaude thee Mr. Doyle, you are slowly but surely changing my oppinion on you, I am hard to please, and none but John Williams and Danny Elfman have yet to do that...
