Great Instrumentals for working out, meditating, driving...

by MajorC

The slow songs (One Come We, Coal Coal Black) are great for relaxing, meditating, stretching. The midtempo songs (Slow Is the New Fast, Make Me Shake) compliment light workouts or dinner parties. The fast ones (We Do Supersonic, Da Riddim Griffin, Be My Woman...) work well for aerobics or high-energy situations. To see how vocals (soul, pop, reggae and jazz, male and female) and lyrics add to the songs, and for more uptempo/downtempo Shinjuku Zulu music, check out the full Various Chimeras 19-track release.

Now this is a great workout CD. I use the songs We Do Supersonic, Da Riddim Griffin, Massive Ballerina and Be My Woman Be My Man when I teach my spin cycle classes.
