The Fountain is a wonderfully crafted film that achieves a ridiculously intimate character study--to which I have never seen a more masterful hand. Clint connects you emotionally with these pieces and spares not a single heartstring. He plays with the entire human spectrum of emotion in this soundtrack and leaves you feeling...awed.
