If your curious...
by CougarSteelas to what a guitar can sound like when thinking outside of the conventional means as to how its supposed to sound, get these tunes. Francis Xavier, known to some as Frank Kearns, guitarist for Cactus World News is truely a master of said instrument. Exceptional at crafting melodies and creating sounds and songs that are a complete joy to listen too.

by PerceptionI listen to this album and I drift off to faraway places that can only be reached with the plane of imagination....I understand much of the music is inspired and some is recorded on some of these Pacific Islands....LMS seems to really capture that spirit...Spatial guitar and these ambient riffs take such a precedence of the artists beauty, pain and yet retaining a sense of hope throughout. 'New Day' is one of my favorites. Spirit of Vailma - takes me on that transendental mystical dream scape that is reminiscent of Eno, Fripp and Sylvian. FX is a new one to add to those precious artists that reach out of their souls with their naked self and beckons one back with a greatly enhanced sense of joy. Walking The Waves title track has such a spacey feel yet when the choral (was going to say coral!) group begin singing you are taken back to these places of joy, calm, quiet and serenity that exist as dots in the vast Pacific. Condor has that appeal of musical hope and again the entire albums theme seeps through it with a great ethereal feel....... It is a complete musical pleasure. It will take its position on my playlist with the likes of Harold Budd, David Sylvian, Eno, and Fripp.
