Raw, Beautiful
by Tybo108Don't get me wrong. I love Celine's version of this song, but, to be honest, it's too polished. A little too perfect for me. This seems more raw and unedited, almost more real to me. This version just speaks to me more, and brings out the message a little more clearly for me. Both Dave and Kara are so talented and this song just proves that more to me. You can bet that I'll be buying this song.

by annieokleyI saw them do this on youtube. Kara has such a beautiful voice. I remember hearing Celine do this too, n i know they are friends, so i doubt there's any issue between them about covering the song. but yeah, i love both Kara n Celine, but true, Celine has more of a pop sound, n i love how Kara's version is a little more intimate and down-to-earth sounding. Bravo to her and Dave. They both rock my world.

by dirkworldfor some strange reason i was really digging ms. Dio Guardi's whole vibe on idol this year.
Im a songwriter as well and a singer, so naturally i sensed her legitimacy. man does this tell the tale.
I also for the first time loved a celine dion song. this one. I thought she had finally demonstrated emotion in song.
I had no idea she was completely ripping of kara's expression and voice.
celine has always struck me as wooden. shes a great great talent. but lets face it and artist she is not.
this explains both sides of the story. Kara DIoGuardi is an incredible talent.
I also was curious about the "like lovers do" lyric which is lifted from the eurythmics.
of course its dave steward referencing himself. fantastic.
this version is the original and the only one for me now.
