Dark and Mysterious- a fantastic find!
by Jane007007If you are a true soundtrack lover- what's not to love? No there are no vocals in it. However the music is lush and sweeping- film noir ish. It also reminds me a little of the Basic Instintct score. I would invite you to watch this great film WITHOUT this music and see what happens. It wouldn't be nearly as good. To me, this music plays a character in the film. It supports .. doesn't overshadow. I love the theme for Ryan Goslings character- it gets him just right. This is great stuff. Get " Mrs. Smith" and " Beachum" if nothing else.

by My Opinion CountsThe score isn't quite bad. It's not always that a score is supposed to stick out, or always hold it's own everytime! It's clear Jeff And Mychael's purpose here was to create a musical bed that supported the films vision, never to intrude on that vision, rather just carry it along. Go see the movie, then rate the score!
