Easily the Greatest Achievement of Masakatsu's Career
by Twilight ElkMy first album from Takagi Masakatsu was Journal for People, and that was a decent album. COIEDA was my next album; purchased from iTunes, I fell in love with this man's style of music and artwork. Private/Public is simply a godsend for Masakatsu!
A physical copy of this CD (along with his artwork and sheet music to 'girls') will run you about $50 USD, but it is worth it. Unfortunately with my budget, I could only buy it on iTunes. Nonetheless, every song on this album is simply wonderful to listen to. Any classical music fan should not be left without Private/Public! My top favorites: Rama, Mio Pianto, and Spiral, but every single song is beautifully orchestrated (and incredible quality :-) )
Please purchase Takagi Masakatsu's "Private/Public". Your soul will thank you.

by BrianOwenI originally acquired this during a trip to Japan and I'm so glad to see it on iTunes. Masakatsu is playing acoustically with some great string arrangements and a group of singers. His tunes really hold up to the acoustic treatment. If you're a fan of his, definitely pick this one up.
