Magical and Upbeat! A must own soundtrack
by MewMichaelX7Not only was Paprika a great movie, its soundtrack is also a win to. Its a amazing soundtrack, which is uplifting, upbeat, fun, and one of my favorites. The Girl in Byakkoya is one of my faves, as it is upbeat and has some very cool vocals. Chaser is a great awesome song to, its fast pace and its technoness mix with that Japanese sytle is also one of my faves. Escapee is a great epic song, for those who like trailer music. Welcome To the Circus is a great marching circus theme, and the Parade theme is also great. This album is a must buy for those who like techno, j-pop, anime soundtracks or just for something different and unique.
A Break from Reality and Into Dreams
by LkyBlkCatXIIIIf you’ve seen the movie, Satoshi Kon’s Paprika revolves more around the plot of switching back and forth from Reality and into Dreams until the two actually merge. Susumu Hirasawa has beautifully captured this and more with his music, whether it be the entrancing and slightly disturbing Parade, the lovely and magical Girl in Byakkoya, or the exhilarating Chaser the listener is thrown into a world of sound, colour and amazing imagery that you never knew existed. As always, Susumu has out done himself and I hope he does so again very soon!
Also, like one review stated, you can get The Girl in Byakkoya for free since Susumu is that much of an awesome man. You can also find may of his other great works there too (I recommend Westward of Time, Big Brother, Haldyn Hotel, and Ride the Blue Limbo). Also look for his works from Satoshi’s other famous work Paranoia Agent!

unbelivable
by MondorisI swear, the things that went on in this film was all the things in my mind as a child and now. Absolutely gorgious soundtrack. I feel like my child in me has finally found a way to heven.
