by favbfwThis is a really good song. I love the background as well as the tune. Laura has an amazing voice and is really talented. she is God- blessed to be able to sing like that, if she wuold use it for His glory.I love the song though.
I Choose It
by NickToddThis song is so stuck in my head right now that it's almost annoying, but the song and performance are both so good that I really don't mind. The "album" has three versions of the song; my favorite is the first one, but I like the others, too - especially the acoustic mix. The previews give a good feel for the appeal of the song, but the complete chorus and a very cool bridge are missing, so, of course, you don't get the full impact from the sample here. The vocal - and parts of the song itself - remind me a little of Joan Osborne's "One of Us", but this song has more contrast between verse, chorus, and especially the bridge - kind of a dramatic buildup - and then release - of tension. Great song, great vocal, lots of "ear candy", if you like that sort of thing (I do).
