A "Best of-" album?

by Ask again. [:

There's only 2 full-lengths and a few EPs. Does this (amazing) band actually need a "best of" cd? That's a bit of a waste. Spend the extra ten and the two original cds (and I would suggest materially, not digitally).

I hate this

its just another compilation. Dont buy it, unless your an insane fan of the libertines and pete doherty enough to buy it just for that demo, a 14$ for one song, yea so pretty much dont buy it, but that demo is pretty tempting

Is it worth it?

It's always nice to remember the good old days when the Libertines were together (no pun intended), but putting out a greatest hits album is a bit ridiculous. Mayday, The Delaney, and What a Waster are all available on itunes so if you already have both of their CDs, it's not worth it to buy the whole thing for those three songs. The only reason I would be interested in paying for any part of this CD is because of the demo (Horrorshow); unfortunately, its album only. Whose idea was that?? Not cool, whoever you are.
