Awful
by SmokeDestructerIf I were to sum up this album in one word that is what it would be. "Awful." These covers are so bad; there simply aren't words to describe it. However, as bad as the rest of it is, I will admit that Break my Body and Caribou are pretty good. Sadly, those two songs are buried within a heap of utter garbage. Please, do yourself and the rest of the world a favor, and just get the originals.
There is a better Pixies Tribute album
by 3blocksBuy "Where is My Mind - A Tribute to the Pixies" because the artists respected the song structure while still making original covers. The Sensefield cover of "Caribou" is the only cover song I've heard that is better than the original. There are a few sleepers on it, but it is much better than this.
