Jon I love you, but ...
by switchfoot rocksI am a die hard Switchfoot fan, but I can't find myself listening to this album too much. The Cure for Pain is good, but besides that, they kind of sound the same. I love you Jon but I'm just not a big fan of your solo stuff!
Jon Foreman- not afraid to break new boundaries
by heyromantica1On Jon Foreman’s 4 EP’s he takes his music stylings far past the likes of Switchfoot. These songs are his way of expanding without damaging Switchfoot’s following. Each EP has a different style and feel, Winter and Fall being darker and as worded in other reviews “depressing and emo”. However, that is the goal of these albums; to match the feeling of the season. If you are looking for lighter, more upbeat songs look towards Spring and Summer. All in all Jon accomplishes what he set out to do; put out simple but powerful music that explores new themes Switchfoot couldn’t touch upon. Kudos to you Jon.
My favorite artist of the moment
by kdgraham71Jon Foreman is made for this kind of chill, acoustic music. I love Switchfoot, but this is truly God-centered, uplifting and refreshing. I am totally hooked!
