Make Me Whole by Beth
by Sir Darren I was just as surprised as you when I heard Beth. I was surprised that I hadnt heard of her before now. Its albums like "Make Me Whole" that are going to make her more well known very soon. With it's power riffs and outstanding lyrics on The title cut" Make Me Whole", it makes for a great start to the album. But its the refreshingly soft yet upbeat rythms on songs like "Be Real" and "Willing To Love Again" that keep you wanting more and more.
"All Your Love" can pass for a country standard piece every bit as good as any being played on country stations today. But its not a country piece. And Beth is not just an ordinary pop star either.
And by the time the album gets to "Shame", a sly and sassy rock and blues tune, you understand completely why that is.
This is a must have, must buy LP. Go ahead. You can thank me later.
