Much Better Than The Movie
by CaptainPeregrineI will not even try to sugar coat it--the movie was not that impressive. Halfway decent special effects and acting teamed up with beautiful scenery did not do much to save this Stargate-wanna-be flick. But the music far makes up for it. Though the movie is barely tolerable, the soundtrack for 10,000 BC is one of the best I have ever heard. It is a powerful soundtrack that resonates with adventure, with a journey and with the beautiful world that we only get a glimpse of in the movie.
'Sea of Sand' is my favorite of the tracks and it really sounds like what it is called. When you listen to this track you actually imgaine a desperate treck across endless expanses of dunes beneath a neverending sky toward a seemingly unreachable goal.
Harold Kloser and Thomas Wander did a remarkable job with this soundtrack, accomplishing what the movie ultimately failed to do. It transported us to a far-gone place of heroes, journies, quests and love that is both lost and unending in our world.
Boring
by random12345678This movie wasn't good at all. There wasn't much talking and you couldn't understand where the movie was going. I didn't like the plot. You couldn't find out who' who because they don't talk as I said before. I think you shouldn't waste your time with this movie.
"The End" and "10,000 BC / End Credits"
by ADPalmerTwo of the best songs I have purchased on Itunes. The End is very moving and extremely peaceful. While the end credits piece is more intense, but just as satisfying. The rest of the album is made of lesser pieces. But I still give props to Kloser for the two end pieces, they're brilliant!
