by liamac77Quite simply, Abigail's refreshing music is very haunting in it's nature but also very melodic--but what separates her from all the others is that she has a distinct voice and sound that is uniquely her own, and she writes the type of songs you submerse yourself into. Abigail's dynamic voice carries her memorable lyrics, within the structure of their often intense subject matter, are set against a range of either simple arrangements to tasteful musicianship, that make good for late night driving through the country or a rattling daytime stroll with the speakers pumping. These songs have a timeless appeal that is worthy of any of the classic artists of say singer-songwriters of the better half of the last 30 years. The production is up front and some of the best around. Check out "Magadalene", "When Skylarks Fall", "Blood and Bones" and "No Turning Back" and discover a gem of a folk artist that transcends the boundaries of her genre.
