True Passion

Anthony Green is one amazing musician. He harnesses his talent and passion from within and throws it into whatever it is that he produces. There is more heart in this album than most people have in their entire beings. The music matches the lyrics perfectly in every song. I watched him perform this album twice before, and both times I could FEEL the emotion radiating out of him with every word. There was one point where it looked like he was crying. The man is not afraid to feel, and he's not afraid to show it to the world, which is a beautiful thing. And yet he is still able to dominate in Circa Survive without question. I'm glad he made an album with all of his own songs. After following them for years, I knew they were too good to just run around loose on the internet. And one of my photos is on the album is album art :) I screamed when I saw it. SO, Avalon is definitely worth the buy. It's nothing like Circa Survive, but it's certainly just as good and very much our beloved Anthony Green doing what he does best.
Avalon
by krupe314Anthony greens solo album "Avalon" is in my opinion, one of his greatest works. With songs like "she loves me so" showing off his amazing high vocal range. This album shows a great contrast from his more intense work in circa survive and saosin. Even if you haven't followed Green through his career in previous bands it is still an awesome CD with a lot of inspiring lyrics.
