Pretty bad, but with potential
by ohmygodpancakesHonestly, the singer kills the whole band. He's awful. He sounds like he smoked WAY too much dope and now has a very average, monotone voice. I personally would liken him to Chris Martin beause they are both tone deaf. Kings of Leon is a band that really wants to be artsy and touching, but just aren't.
Obviously, that's my personal opinion. I don't care that I don't know the singer's name, nor do I wish to know. I think the intrumentals are very clean and fine-tuned well enough that I don't give the single 1 star. This isn't a fun song and to me it doesn't sound like something that should be a single. The song is something that makes me feel like I ABSOLUTELY have to change the radio station when Kings of Leon is played to avoid giving them any air time. This isn't a song you enjoy, it's a song you think about too much and fall into a deep depression over.
