AWSOME!!
by setgavinonfirethis has to be one of the best albums ive ever listened to, matt mihana's screams are crazy and not like a lot of the generic hardcore/screamo bands out there. you should buy the whole album, its really good, and if not buy ravenous ravenous rhinos, brief interviews with hideos people and things that rhyme with orange
At first, I was unsure...
by iluvalternative.... I mean, they did that cover, and honestly it was terrible... even more so because it sparked a chain reaction of popular music covers from various screamo and hardcore bands, including my band, all of which got really old really quickly. So I assumed, quite incorrectly, that they just got lucky and happened to get a record deal and a tour going, via the popularity of "Crank Dat calvary boy".
But after listening to this CD, I thought differently. Matt and Nabil throw together some incredibly clever and hilarious lyrics on this CD, and yes, it's all completely digitalized, and anyone can play triggered double bass and edit it on the computer, but the great thing is this is a DIY record. And somehow, it's quite good.
