Terp2It Almost Touches the Ceiling
by ofbreakfastI'm a big fan of MC Paul Berman, and I like what Terp2It has managed to accomplish in this direction? Which direction? The free-associating, mumu wearing, absurdist lovechild of Captain Kangaroo and William. S. Burroughs direction. That's what direction. Some of the songs feel a little bit like filler, and I must take issues with 'Statistics' because it included "nine, twentythree, twentyfive" which are some pretty weak ones. Try giving aleph-null a guest spot on the next album and we'll see what happens.
I also like that he calls attention to the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP), through his name as well as the various themes of riding the bus, riding a bike (though for moderate distances), and getting around by gliding effortlessly a few inches of a lake of molten ambrosia.

It's WAY better than fast food, it's Terp 2 It!
by Studio8BrockEverything about this album is awesome. The beats are fancy. The lyrics are funny and slick. Terp's first album was kickass, but this album blows that one out of the water. Producer Mikey Felton (MC DJ) has outdone himself on the production side. This is a must for nerdcore and non-nerdcore hip-hop fans.
My fave tracks:
- "O" - A constant assault of freshness. Check out the music video for it on Studio8.net.
- "LATX" - Yummy!
- "Backpack" - Silly and catchy and fun.
- "This is Not a Mustache" - Good for one whole family!
