by ELECTRICFREAKEach song is incredible in it's own way and James showed exactly that.The music fits PERFECTLY with each scean in the movie and just makes you feel about what happened if your were in a friendly-8-year old-boy who only wanted a friend.'Boys Playing Airplanes',brings a great begining to the movie and even if you didn't know it, it makes you feel like you yourself is floating in peace.'Strange New Clothes', Iv'e got 2 say, it's very jaunty almost and lifts your spirits a little to think (spoiler if you havn't seen the movie) Bruno isn't going to be killed in the camp, but he does.And my heavens,.......'Remembrance,Remebrance' brings tears to my eyes each time I listen 2 it.Just seeing how Bruno's mother and father and "PROPAGANDA" sister is crying,and how his mother is just screaming wanting her little boy and his father, just, blank.....the movie and score is caught perfectly with the help of James Horner, and without him the soundtrack would have been written by a brain-dead monkey.Buy the album, and while your at it, go buy:
a box of tissues
a baby-sitter (if you have kids)
a new set of pajamas (for the right mood)
make your husband or boyfriend watch it if they think they're man enough
and rent the movie at Blockbuster or somewhere else.Enjoy all of it.
