2000: The Year of the Future

Did before it was cool to do it.

     

The Animatronics popped into the Baltimore underground music scene playing their brand of "new wave" fused power pop/rock that sounds like it could have easily been put out in 1981. But no, this was released in fact almost two decades later. When they hit the clubs in Baltimore in the late 90s they actually sounded totally new and different then what everyone else was playing. Today the "new wave" sound has become hip and MTV has grabbed onto it like vegetarians eat tofu- or something like that. This is a great set of music with some catchy riffs that will have your foot tappin' and head boppin'.
