Great way to integrate some soulful masters!
by hodadI must admit, I downloaded this album for two reasons. 1. I'm a BeachBoys-Brian Wilson fan. 2. Because of this, I also know who Blondie Chaplin is. He used to be part of the forward-looking Beach Boys of the early 70s ( as opposed to the oldies set/ from practically then on). Look, "Hand On My Shoulder" is excellent. "Home" is great, too. Blondie still has a great soulful voice after all these years. He's talented on the guitar, too. The Beach Boys would have continued to modernize if he had stayed with them.
All that said, this Anton Fig is a very talented musician who is worth a look even if you're like me and, at first, unfamiliar with him. Good album with Very interesting riffs, changes, and instrumentation.
