The Joy of being real
by shadowemonkI'll admit it, I am a diehard fan of the Choir. When this album came out I rushed to order it and then played it for several of my friends and then ordered it for my friends. What strikes me as different about this album when compared to other Choir albums is the sheer honesty. This is not your usual radio-play-seeking Christian music. Sure, the album is more mellow than Kisssers and Killers, but the lyrics are as straightforward as you can get. Brooding, questioning, and ultimately trusting and relying upon God.
It is a beautiful snapshot of reality and grace.
