With a growing indie-rock fan base that included O.C. character Seth Cohen, Death Cab for Cutie finally moved up to a major label with Plans, their fifth full-length release. It’s both the modestly forward-looking effort past listeners would have expected and a bold leap forward. Ben Gibbard again sings for those with aching hearts, a bit puzzled about where they find their young lives going, but this time from a more resolutely grown-up position. Like R.E.M. before them, Death Cab is building an impressive catalog from diverse blocks that click into place nicely.

Incredible.... genre defying
by EVANESCENCE!!!When I heard there newer albums I thought they were just another indie band (i almost never like indie stuff) but this defies that classification. This album teeters near a mix of indie rock and emo. They are what others would call sad but I could listen to this over and over again. His voice is at its peak. Marching bands of manahattan and of course I will follow you into the dark are my favorites.

by smusicsThis is by far the best DCFC album ever!!! I love them so much and i have to say Meet Me On the Equinox is not my fav. But, Plans was amazing. I Will Follow You Into the Dark will always and forever be my favorite song. Definitely worth buying!!! I highly suggest doing this!!!
