Definitely worth a listen!
by mothergooseI heard Mr. Dean perform in person. He has a very warm and personable stage presence, and is full of stories. His heritage is Scotch-Irish and he knows his history. He has been a musician since he was 5 years old and began a professional music career at 18. He has played rock and at one time performed on the banjo. He is a finger-picking artist creating intricate compositions of melody and harmony, infused with emotion. He knows the history of most of these songs and brings that history into his music. I heartily recommend giving him a listen. Start with Ready for the Storm, Bonny at morn, Scarborough Fair, and Back Home in Derry.
