Amazing debut

by Davelad

Without question one of the best debut albums in a very long time, period. Tight, driving, yet raw and passionate. Amazing sound from a trio.

Great 90's-ish indie Rock

These guys are incredible. I was listening to KEXP (KEXP.org, just stream it online, it'll change you) last summer, and John in the Morning threw one of their songs on. I was really surprised, and skipped over to iTunes immediately after I got home from work. I bought the album and its probably one of the top 5 best buys in my collection....

These guys are incredible. Its a wall of sound, that comes from something so simple in its parts, but is so much more rich and complex in its whole. The whole album is solid, top to bottom. Like any young band, there are rough spots, but they are rough in a good way. The lyrics are passionate and not childish. Their progressions and ability to just rock out as a three-piece are so impressive. Their next release could be a masterpiece. I can't say enough about these guys. Go get the album....you can't just download one or two, its a piece of art as a whole.

I'm really impressed by this group, and I'm hoping they come play in Seattle sometime. They are from NYC, so I understand why they haven't shown up. I emailed the band, and their manager wrote back that they were going to try to come this way. Maybe soon!
