Absolutely love it!
by piano_playerI saw Seth perform these songs at his Blue Light concert at Cornell University in 1995 - and have been hooked on his music ever since. I have all four of his albums - all different but complimentary to each other. "Red Descending" took me time to digest - it's much darker in mood - but I can't imagine my library without it now.
"The Blue Light" album is so relaxing and if you've attended Cornell, you can picture the places he's writing about (the suspension bridge, Cayuga Lake, Cascadilla, the "blue light" itself, etc). Listen for Cornell's alma mater melody as it comes through in Cayuga's Waters. I'm not a big fan of the vocal addition on "Sunset Park" but love everything else. I only wish I could find sheet music so I could play these songs on my piano!
