This is MUSIC
by DurelinThis is music, not just noise - which is sadly far too rare these days...or maybe not just these days.
Society Ills is not just stuck in one little frame of mind, they are not strangers to experimenting, they do not fit in one, hyphenated, overly specific, and easily recognizable genre. They prove their ability purely through the variety of sounds they can create and pull off extraordinary well. I can even sometimes listen to their own version of screamo-death-metal-something in "They're Coming to Get You, Barbara", and that's saying a LOT.
“The Storm” is an amazing accomplishment, particularly for a first album, and I’m sure it was quite some time in the making. It is exciting, and it’s got ‘we’re going somewhere with this’ written all over it.
Society Ills is unique, original, "interesting" (as was aptly said by ‘Stanley’), smart, and just plain good. “The Storm” demands to be heard, and it will have you looking for more, wondering what this band might get into next.

by -Stanley-Whoever the guitarist is, he is amazing. I wish i could get lessons from him. Anyways, awesome album, It constantly keeps you interested. A must buy
